Good Directions' Vinyl and Wood Cupolas are designed for a roof pitch up to a 10” rise per foot (known as “10/12 pitch”); most roofs are not steeper than this. However, if the roof pitch is steeper than a 10/12 pitch, you will need to include an extension base with your cupola order. It is important that you order your extension base (if needed) at the same time you order your cupola.
